CESNW completed the design of the missing link for Bonnie Lane from ‘B’ Street to Main Street. Improvements consisted of the new roadway, bike lanes, sidewalks, three sided bridge over a tributary of Council Creek, street lighting, landscaping and associated wetland mitigation and flood plain impact reductions. The project included property owner/neighborhood involvement program, wetland/environmental permitting, storm drainage improvements, flood plain analysis and waterline extension.
This portion of Bonnie Lane runs along a tributary creek and flood plain area. CESNW modified the roadway alignment to reduce wetland and flood plain impacts. The roadway was also narrowed as it crossed the tributary creek, reducing wetland and stream impacts. Roadway construction was completed in June 2007 and wetland mitigation was completed in May 2008.
