The City of Tualatin’s discovered a section of the exposed 12-inch sanitary sewer trunk line resulting from a small bank failure. CESNW prepared construction plans for a bio-engineered approach to bank stabilization utilizing root wads, geo-textiles, erosion controls, rockeries and gabion baskets (to protect from undercutting). Plans addressed bank protection, grading and erosion control, replanting, construction staging and access. CESNW performed land surveying, civil engineering, wetland permitting. Schott and Associates assisted with wetland permitting.
